Healthy summer smoothie

So the weather has been getting warmer and also its coming up to summer so I wanted something healthy and fresh so I made a really easy summer smoothie.
 For this recipe you will need:
  • A handful of baby spinach leaves
  • half a small punnet of blue berries
  • half a small punnet of raspberries
  • half  a punnet of strawberries 
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of orange juice (you can add more later depending on how thick you want your smoothie)  
  • 1 stick of rhubarb (but you can add more or less depending on how sour you like things)
  • The juice of half a lemon.

To make your smoothie you first want to put your orange juice and spinach into a blender, the orange juice is goof for you because it contains vitamin C, which is good for your immune system and then spinach is a good source of vitamin A. This contains antioxidants, then add the Rhubarb which is good for lowering cholesterol.

You want too do this first so that you can make sure there's no big bits of leaf or stringy bits from the rhubarb . Then you need to put in the blue berries which are so good for you because they contain anti oxidants which are great for your skin.
Next you want to add the raspberries and strawberries which add that delicious flavour along with the goodness that comes from fruit.
Then last you have the lemon juice which will add some tartness to take away the flavour of the spinach.
and then just add some crushed ice and blend for a few minutes and your done, I like to strain mine before drinking to get some of the seeds out.
If you make to much or have some leftover you can put them in a cup like this one I bought from asda for £1 you can probably find them pretty cheap in most supermarkets, then you can store it in the fridge for a few days or freeze it and when you want it take it out a few hours before.
